User Manual

Go to the download page, then select the download for your platform (Windows / macOS).

Once downloaded, double-click the .zip to unzip it. Then, double-click the "LotoAsso.app" app.

If Firevault is enabled on your Mac, click "Done", then follow the step below.

Authorize the application

1. Go to Apple Menu > System Settings
2. Go down to the "Privacy & Security" menu category
3. Click the "Open Anyway" button next to "LotoAsso.app was blocked"

Once the software is open, you arrive on the home page. Let's start by configuring the software by clicking on "Settings".

General

• App language (French only for now)
• Your association name
• Enable/disable sound effects (during number draw)
• Enable/disable financial info display on dashboard

Appearance

• Light / Dark theme
• App theme color
• Drawn numbers color, and whether they should be underlined

Logos

• Your association logo (will be displayed on the draw screen, fixed)
• Your partners' logos (will be displayed as a carousel, scrolling)

To add logos, click the "Choose a logo" button. To delete, click the trash can.

Draws

• Notify winning cards during draw or not
• Show random draw button during draw or not (replaces a blower)
• Show card check button during draw or not

Cards

• Default card selling price (per unit)

Danger Zone

On the home screen, you find:

• The different navigation menus
• The dashboard with statistics (can be hidden from settings)
• The news banner for the current version

Tip: Hover with the mouse cursor to unblur values.

Access to cards

From the home screen, access card management.

Add cards

To add cards, click the green "+" button at the bottom right. You can either:

• Copy existing cards - Enter numbers as requested, then click "Create card"
• Generate cards - Enter a batch number, number of cards, then click Generate

The card list is visible on the left pane. Click a card to view details.

Print cards

Select cards to print, then click the printer button. You can print:

• All saved cards
• New ones only (status "New")
• Selected cards only

Sell cards

To record card sales:

1. Select cards
2. Click the "Dollar" button
3. Enter buyer details, selling price, and optional notes
4. Validate

Cards are marked as "Sold", you find buyer info on the right.

Export / Import cards

You can export cards to transfer them to another computer.

From the "Card Management" page, click the "Export / Import" button, then "Export cards" or "Import cards".

In the home menu, click "Prize Management".

Create prizes

Click the "+" button at the bottom right. The left part of the window displays details. Once info is entered, save changes.

Delete prizes

Select prizes to delete, then click the trash can > Delete selected prize(s), or delete all prizes to delete everything.

Create draws

Click the "+" button to start adding a draw. Then enter the following elements:

• Status - Ready, Draft, Started, or Finished
• Reset numbers - If checked, numbers will be reset at start of draw
• Draw type - Quine (1 line), Double quine (2 lines), Full card
• Prizes to win - Free value or selection from prize management
• Drawn numbers - Saved automatically when draw is finished

Reorganize draws

Use the drag and drop icon, and drag-drop the draw to organize.

Delete draws

Select the draw(s) to delete, then click the trash icon. Confirm deletion.

Congratulations, you are ready for the big day! The draw screen displays drawn numbers, prizes to win, and your logos in real-time.
